MR. SHLOMO ELIAHU, FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
MR. SHLOMO ELIAHU, FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN Founded Eliahu Insurance Company in 1965, and has served as the active Chairman of the Eliahu Group since its inception. After arriving in Israel as a poor immigrant, over the course of the ensuing 60 years, Mr. Eliahu has built an insurance and banking business that establishes him as one of Israel's wealthiest and most influential businessmen. Besides his business interests, Mr. Eliahu has also played an active role in Israeli politics, including having served from 1978-1981 as a Member of Israel's Parliament and as a member of its Finance Committee. In addition, his values of hard work, honesty and creativity, along with his deep love for Israel and the pioneering vision, are reflected in his significant philanthropic activities. Mr. Eliahu is a Trustee of the Tel Aviv University, which awarded him an honorary doctorate in 2010.

General Manager of Eliahu Holdings since 2008,Director of Eliahu Holdings since 2004 .

Mr. Eliahu has also served as the Eliahu Group's Chief Investment Officer (CIO), a position in which his focus has been on long-term investments and the creation of special financing structures. He is Chairman of the Investment Committee of Eliahu Insurance, and serves as a Director  in various financial and Real Estate companies.

Mr. Eliahu was responsible for Eliahu Holdings' 1999 acquisition of the major non government interest in Bank Leumi. He is the Founder of Israel's Family Business Center, Chairman of "Lifetime Wisdom" (NGO) and a board member in "Lev Ohev" (NGO).
